  • How do you engage with sanctuary seeking communities?

The more your organisation understands the specific needs and barriers of people seeking sanctuary, the better placed you are to serve these vulnerable communities.

We offer a range of workshops and ‘performance talks’ on this topic to promote key strategies for socially responsible participatory practices.

  • We offer an exciting programme of workshops designed to train groups and individuals in the facilitation of interactive theatre, as a tool for teaching, learning and training. We teach the methods for creating and utilising forum theatre to engage audiences and promote discourse.

We can also design bespoke training sessions to meet the needs of the people in your organisation. We will utilise our methods to create stimulating, interactive and experiential learning in which people are empowered to develop their skills.

  • SBC Theatre are regularly commissioned to create discursive performance works designed to gather, disseminate, and explore new information. We do this with a range of new audiences in a variety of contexts. We work closely with researchers to explore new ways of communicating information and data, in live and mediatised capacities.

  • It is vital that those with lived experience are prominent in our society in order to truly impact decision-makers. We offer bespoke training programmes to ensure you are supported to represent these experiences in ways that are safe and empowering. We teach techniques to build confidence, support wellbeing, create and deliver powerful speeches and presentations, in order to hold those with power to account.
