  • Stand and Be Counted make campaign theatre with a proud record for welcoming new audiences to the theatre. Our work is adventurous and political, merging lived experience with new ideas. We believe deeply in the importance of theatre as a tool to promote social change and unity and hold the powerful to account.

  • The Herd brings children, young people, and families together in playful spaces to watch and share stories. Our work explores what it’s like to be young, the good bits and the hard bits. We believe that children and young people deserve art that respects their rich, complex lives, and that by reflecting how children and young people see the world, we allow adults to view their own worlds differently.

A story walk adventure right on your doorstep.

Hidden Winter follows 8-year-old Hiba, a mischievous cat, and a trail of winter clothes in a story celebrating the joys and difficulties of making friends in a new place. This brand-new story walk adventure is designed to be experienced by audiences on mobile devices, whilst on walks in their local park, or at home, during national lockdown restrictions.

Hidden Winter is an exciting, new story-walk adventure co-created with young sanctuary seekers in Bradford, made for children everywhere and their grownups, and is available for free in English and Arabic.

‘I’ve got a story to tell you. It’s a story that, up until now, has been hidden away. Nobody’s heard it. It’s a story that happened near to where you’re sitting right now. It’s a story about the people and places right on your doorstep…’

Pop on your headphones, join us for a very special stroll around your local park and rediscover the magic of your surroundings.
