The RIpples Response
Response — A Creative Collaboration by DIPACT CIC, Stand and Be Counted Theatre & 1853 Studios
Response was a creative collaboration between DIPACT CIC, SBC Theatre, and 1853 Studios, supporting artists Daria Protsenko and Karolina Kanska through a residency exploring the relationship between performance, digital art, and visual storytelling.
Exhibition: Life as a Simulation
The exhibition by Daria Protsenko and Karolina Kanska, inspired by Ripple’s performance, explores how life can be seen as a simulation of the system we live in. The artworks — including digital art, video, photography, animation, and performance — show everyday life as if it were a game, where people try to find their place and meaning.
The work reflects how we are all part of a system that can be hard and unescapable, but also reminds us to stay true to ourselves and understand who we really are. Through this mix of real and virtual worlds, the exhibition asks:
If life is a game, how do we keep being ourselves inside it?
